In one of the strangest videos I’ve seen in a while, Vice heads over to North Korea with Denis Rodman and 3 Harlem Globe Trotters for what would be the first basketball game in where North Koreans and Americans played on the same team.
Right from the start of this video everything you thought you knew about North Korea is seemingly different. There are people at SeaWorld, bright lights, grocery stores and shopping malls filled with goods. But is it all just a mirage? An everyday Truman Show where the streets are filled with actors and everything is a lie?
It is quite interesting to see how when there are actual interactions between the Americans and North Koreans you can see that we are not so different and the only thing stopping North Koreans is their “beloved” leader.
